| B1 rhythms of life are a simple yet meaningful commitment to living out the values of our community, drawing us closer to God, one another and to our world.
VALUE: ATTENTIVENESS
PRACTICE: To foster an awareness of God’s presence in our lives by daily or weekly individual practice of the Prayer of Review.
VALUE: EQUIPPING
PRACTICE: To commit to a regular pattern of prayerful bible reading, for example, looking at a couple of gospel chapters a week.
VALUE: NURTURING
PRACTICE: Intentional blessing of one person within and without B1 each week. Examples of blessings might include: an encouraging word, a kind email or card, an offer of help, a coffee or a letter.
VALUE: ACCEPTANCE
PRACTICE: We will commit to engage or chat with someone we don’t know well on Sundays.
VALUE: COMMUNITY
PRACTICE: To eat or drink with someone from B1 and someone outside B1 once a month. This may include the shared B1 meal, coffees, lunch or a pint!
