At B1 we aim to be a church that is committed to building strong, inclusive relationships. We feel it’s important that there is a real sharing of lives in B1.We start from the position that we’re all on a journey together with God moving towards getting to know Jesus better. This means it’s an accepting environment in which to explore faith. We work hard to respect each others differences and we understand that the quality of our relationships together determines the credibility of our attempts to share faith.
We’ve designed B1 so that you can come and belong at whatever level you want. You’ll find a welcome and acceptance. Community is important to us.
We run a number of midweek small groups ( called B groups ) meeting either on a Wednesday or Thursday. These meet in homes most weeks. We see them as places where struggles and doubts can be shared, where we learn together and encourage each other in the Christian faith. There are regular opportunities for socialising together. B groups provide an environment where we can get to know others and be known by others. They foster friendship and provide opportunities for accountability in our lives.
